Sydney Fashion week

Australian Fashion week has launched this week with designers showing off their trends for Spring and Summer 2014/15. This exclusive event showcased 72 Australian designer brands. Australian fashion icon Carla Zampatti set a high standard for fashion, started the week of fashion off with a fresh new look from her collection which showed sharp black tailored and bold evening gowns.

This year showed new and fresh designs by up and coming fashion designer graduates. The Innovators were featured this year on the runway, which are six fashion graduates of Sydney's prestigious Fashion Design Studio. Rising stars to watch out for on the runway include Ciaro Nolan, Hayley Dawson, Logvin Code, Kiaya Daniels, Yousef Akbar and Bei Na Wei.


My absolute favourite collection of the week has to be Alice McCall's range, she once again showcased a beautiful spectrum of unique colours, and her ability once again wow the audience!
